One of the things that done me the world of good is taking up meditation which I do religiously every afternoon, my meditation is simple and during the time I am meditating try not to think of anything I say a little prayer and just offer myself to my guides and helpers, I started doing this over ten years ago and when looking back I can see how much stronger and connected I am to the period before I started.
Music can sometimes enhance our relaxation, Mozart, Chopin or Ludovico Einaudi can induce peace and tranquility to make us relax and peaceful.
another thing is very helpful are books reading about spiritualism some of the wonderful things mediums of the past achieved in their readings is pure gold to me.
but my personal favorite is Opening doors within by Eileen Caddy touches me there is a page for every day of the year and when I open it on the day it always makes me feel uplifted since it suits how I am feeling on the day.
I had recommended this book to so many people and have a little anecdote about it
gave it to my best friend for her Birthday and by Christmas she gave me a copy as part of my Christmas present ( she also liked it as much as me) knew we were in the same wave length and this collaborated how attuned we both are.
